About Us

Brandwood Global, Inc. is a California corporation founded in 2014. Its mission has been to create innovative software to solve difficult and out-dated process in the fields of Media and Entertainment Business. Co-founded by Stephanie Weier and Larry Weier, both industry studio veterans with over 40 years experience doing branding, product placement, and rights permissions. Our philosophy is that vision, imagination and creative thinking will unlock the doors to innovation every time.

Team

CEO and founder Stephanie Weier is an entrepreneur, filmmaker and author. In 2001, she founded The Domain Group, an entertainment industry research, branding and placement company, which has executed more than 5,000 product placement and branding deals. She has worked on major feature films including Terminator 2, Crazy Stupid Love, That Awkward Moment and The Social Network.
Weier holds a degree in Intellectual Property and Cyberlaw from Concord Law University, a master’s degree in education, plus a bachelor’s degree in creative writing with a film minor from the University of Tennessee. In 2014, she published her debut book on entrepreneurship, Business Ninjas.

Founder and COO Larry Weier is a former vice-president of production at Universal Pictures, who supervised the permission, research, product placement and branding divisions of the company for more than 25 years. He has worked on major feature films including; E.T., Jurassic Park, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Despicable Me, Bridesmaids, For the Love of the Game, Friday Night Lights and Meet the Fockers. He holds a PhD in anthropology from UCLA and a bachelor’s degree in Fine Art.

Todd Bulgarino/CSO
A "serial entrepreneur," Todd Bulgarino co-founded Solutions Management Group in 1996 and later founded Techoptions in 2001. Both enterprises provide business-to-business technology solutions. Successful implementations included General Electric, Wells Fargo, TRW, Deutsche Bank, TDS, U.S. Cellular, HGTV, YUM! Brands, among others. In 2011, Bulgarino joined The Domain Group as Eastern Region Vice President and is now Chief Strategist of Brandwood Global. In this leadership position, he contributes to product development, application testing, education and solution adoption. Bulgarino holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Marketing. He is an active member of the Nashville Technology Council, the Nashville Entrepreneur Center and has provided leadership for Junior Achievement and the ARC of Tennessee.

Elianne Boutros
Elianne Boutros is responsible for creating and implementing office procedures, providing accounting, marketing and sales assistance. Prior to BwG, she worked at the Small Business Development Center at College of the Canyons as an administrative assistant for 3 years. She holds a B.S. In Business Management.

Lydia Parsons
Lydia Parsons began working for Brandwood Global since August 2016. She holds a BFA in Sculpture from Biola University. Lydia brings a personality as bright as her hair and a quick wit to match her concise problem solving mentality.

Joy Montgomery
Joy Montgomery is a pioneer, having launched one of the first concierge services to the UK in 1999, created the premier Association for Celebrity Assistants in 2003 and disrupted goodie bags in 2005 replacing them with celebrity gifting lounges. In 2010 Joy launched ON-SCREEN providing brands with product placement opportunities in TV shows such as: Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model, Catastrophe and Game of Thrones and to actors on the movie sets of films like: PAN, Edge of Tomorrow, In the Heart of the Sea, Kingsman The Secret Service and The Imitation Game.

Mike Givens
With over 17 years of experience in the video game and toy industries. Mike’s affiliations include Activision Blizzard, Mattel, Hasbro, Jakks Pacific, Namco Bandai, and EA. Skilled in all aspects of production: team building, design, P&L, creative direction, and business negotiating, Mike utilizes his experience to stay on top of consumer trends for purposes of digital integration and consumer products.

Eric Speier
Producer, Composer, and Business Manager with decades of experience in the game and film industries. Skilled in team leading, business development, client relations, project management licensing and copyright negotiations. On the creative side, game concepts and design as well as years of music composition/scoring experience on such projects as Napoleon Dynamite Animated Series, Thor 2, Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle, Oregon Trail and Mission Hill.

Ben Spees
Technical Director & Designer with 15 years experience in the game industry. An innovative programmer and game designer since his teenage years, Ben tackles both technical and creative challenges with equal relish. His range of experience has covered nearly every aspect of technical development, resulting in a roster of successful projects, ranging from small-scale indie apps to AAA game development.

The Domain Group, Inc. is managed by its president, Lori Witt Dalton, who has been with the company for over 12 years. Prior to working for The Domain Group, Ms. Dalton was employed by Universal Pictures and NMA Entertainment Marketing (now part of Corbis Entertainment).
Ms. Dalton has over 20 years of experience in the areas of rights permissions, research and script breakdown reports, music and clip licensing and product placement.
Having worked on all sides of the business including studio, agency and production, Ms. Dalton has a very thorough understanding of the requirements and practices it takes to ensure production’s are able to deliver a film that is free of any potential legal issues.

Gary has over 25 years of experience building and operating technology organizations. He is the founder of 3 successful software and technology services companies, including Localize Technologies, acquired by Welocalize in August of 2007.
Prior to Localize, Gary founded and served as CEO for Servinet, a software outsourcing company based in San Francisco that catered to financial services and technology companies.
Gary started his career in the IT group at Citibank. He is a graduate of California State University Hayward, and the Executive Program at Stanford University, Graduate School of Business.

Byron Alvarado grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, where he attended The University of Arizona in Tucson. In 1996, Byron graduated with his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. While working full-time, Byron attended the prestigious Pepperdine University Graziadio School of Business and Management program where he graduated with his MBA degree in 2003.
In 2005, Byron decided to change careers, after having been an engineer for nearly a decade and entered the financial and insurance industry where he could help and impact people's financial lives for the better.
Byron brings his education, experience, and philosophies from designing space shuttle systems, into designing his client’s financial plans. He is honored to provide an outside professional advice to Brandwood Global as the company grows through its various business cycles by serving on the Advisory Board.

Jon Julsrud is a Visual Effects Supervisor and Producer of Marketing & Distribution. He has been working with Brandwood Global for the past year finding brand integration and placement opportunities for low and medium budget independent features.
Jon believes in today’s film market a diverse financial strategy and a clear marketing and distribution plan implemented from pre-production gives the optimal chance at success for a feature.
Jon has a slate of his own films in development and is involved as a VFX Supervisor and PMD on concurrent projects.
